Guest AmyKnoxville
Just downloaded the app today. Can you start this program at any age? Approaching the big 50 next year and getting the dreaded middle age spread. My 18 year old football player son has just dropped 62 pounds and had so much energy. Just want to drop enough pounds that I feel good in my skin again if you know what I mean? Plus, stay healthy. 5k would be great, but I started a jogging program last year and have fallen out of the habit. Have lots if hills in my neighborhood always walked up the hills and jogged down. Will I still be able to use this app?
KellyAnn
Hi Amy, Awesome for you for downloading the app.. NOOOOOOOOO, you are not too old, I am right there with you on age and I am GOING to lose about 20lbs, I have too, I am too short, lol... I am on the 10k app, I am on Week 6, but haven't ran in about a month, I have been working out in other ways. We are in Vegas next week and man I cannot wait to get started again. I am going out today for a walk. Hey, any help I can give you, let me know. Buddy Up? Be held accountable? I am so in.... Starting back eating healthy today and no more drinking at all. I am done. We are only going to have a few drinks next week in Vegas and thats it. New Year, New Me! Hugs and keep me posted....
soculese
Yeah I hit rock bottom and 40 around the same time. I've battled depression and weight problems all my life. I started long distance walking about 4 months ago and six weeks ago started the c25k app. Just capped off week 5 day 3 tonight. YOU CAN DO THIS! You just have to believe in yourself. Do this for you not someone else, find the better you inside and bring that person out. Do yourself a favor and download my fitness pal and track your foods. It will make you think before you pick your meals and set a schedule to do the exercise in this app. Set alarms on your phone to remind you and OWN it. Post here for support. Everyone here wants everyone else to succeed. You can do it!

Azatol
Amy, You are in no way too old. I'm 47 and cruising through week 6. All you need to do is want it bad enough. And inspiration? Try looking in the mirror. You had the courage to download the app and give it a try. That sounds like inspiration to me <G> Happy New Year!
