I have completed c25k. I run at 8kph on the treadmill. I considered c210k but think it will be all about speed for me and how quick I can finish. I've downloaded half marathon and think because it is a nice mix of walking and running I think this will be less about speed and more about finishing. When I do a long run like this if I normally run at 8kph I was thinking of starting at 7.5 as I read with a half it is best to start slower so as not too burn out early. Any advice? Thank you.

I don't want to get into this habit, especially since I've registered for a 5k, but my last 2 runs were on the treadmill at the gym. I'm on week 4 day 1 and it's so much easier for me. My distance is further and I'm running faster, feeling great afterwards. Am I doing myself an injustice? I'd love input from veteran runners! Thank you

Last year(16) I decided that I needed to improve my fitness and lose a little weigh as I was starting to feel a bit blaaa. I have never been a runner, but wanted to give it a try. I started with the c25k app... really struggled running for even the shortest time. Gradually I improved a little and could run for 20 mins slowly without stopping. As it started to get dark before I got home from work I stopped running around the country lanes(scared I might get run over) and stopped for a few months. I then got a treadmill in feb 17and from March 17 I set myself a goal of running 3 times a week for 30 mins ( and longer or more sessions was a bonus) I have stuck to this well, the odd week I might have missed a run. I have managed to hit 5k in 30min57sec... can't seem to beat it!

Does anyone know if there is any way to log your runs if you completed them in a treadmill?

Where do you run? I like to mix it up to keep it interesting. I started out on treadmill so I could stop when I wanted to stop and not have to come all the way back, but now that I have some stamina built up, I really enjoy outdoor running. I have to stick to road mostly right now, near home in the mornings before work, but love to hit a good mountain trail when I can get up there. Time just flies by when you're preoccupied with choosing a path around roots and rocks!
