  1. I am in complete agreement with this and would advise anyone to follow this advice! Running is very much a mind over matter, the more obstacles you put in your way, the harder it will be. I would add that instead of wondering about the time, replace those thoughts with positive mantras...."you're doing it!" "You got this!" " I will not give up!"
  2. I maybe should know the answer to this but I'm wondering what side of the road I should be running on. I live in a rural area with no sidewalks, tight shoulders, and a lot of hills which reduce visibility at times(coming up a hill you can't see oncoming traffic until you are at or near top). I am currently running on the left side because I feel I can keep an eye on the traffic that is closest to me, but should I be running on the right?

    Hi!

    I'm Michelle, a 34 year old wife and mother of 2. I am about to hit the daunting day 3 of week 5!!!! I don't know how I am going to make the jump to running for 20 mins straight! Does anyone have any suggestions for me? What is a good energy boost before running? I just feel I get so exhausted towards the end of my running, don't know if I can keep it up for 20 mins.
