  1. I do use the GPS tracking. I use the MapMyFitness app. Since I finished the program, my first goal was to run a full 5k and not just a set period of time. I have accomplished that and am now working on bettering my time on the 5k. That's a trick right now because of heavy rains and flooding in my area, but I'll get there. Good luck to you!
