Guest Jill
So just finished week 2 day 3 and am finally starting to get into a stride... Only to end up pulling my groin muscle. Not too badly I think, but it definitely hurts when I do certain things. Most sites I've seen online suggest resting it and no exercise for 2-4 weeks for minor groin injuries.... I really don't want to have to stop running for that long though... Any advice?
KellyAnn
Hi Jill, Ouch, gosh is ps hate that when you are plugging along and ouch, an injury. I'm having a hard time researching it this am as the Internet is slow because of bLack Friday. Lol. But WebMd has a great article on it. When I pull calf muscles, it's i use the RICE method. Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation. I knead and massage the area and that helps to heal faster. Just rest yourself. Hugs to you and hope it heals fast for you. Maybe try walking. But if you don't rest it, it won't heal fast.
