charlyhorse14
Help please ! I have completed the C25K & C210K apps, and although I am pleased with my efforts I am probably no where as quick as the apps would like me to be (probably because I am 40+ years old and 6st over weight - but I am getting there!) But I am carrying on regardless - so here is my question - do I start the half marathon app from week 1 - or can or start on a different week having finished the 10k? Thank you
Guest Kelly
I did C25k and then moved to the half marathon app. I started at day one and have just been working my way through. After coming off a double stress fracture, I didn't want to increase too much too fast and be back in a boot. Keep in mind your mileage is going to be increasing with the half marathon app and the last thing you are going to want is an injury. slowlychanging23
I'm curious about this too! I'm still doing C25k training cuz i never finished the full 8 weeks- i jogged/walked 2 5k races last fall and now i'm starting over this year since I'm hoping to do a half marathon next spring I'm very overweight so it's tough. Guest jj
I have been doing these apps and have never been as fast as I should be. But I do keep working at it. 2 weeks ago I dislocated my knee cap washing my daughter's horse. Now I'm afraid how long it'll take me to get back to where I was; (
Guest rc49_123
Do you have to complete the 5k app first before getting the 1/2 marathon? I signed up for one in dec and technically have 13 weeks instead of 14 but want to get the "distance" running down - don't care about how fast i run just that I complete the 13.
KellyAnn
Rc49, if you feel like you are ready for the 13.1 app and want to try it. Go ahead. Don't set yourself back by training too hard. If the 13.1 works, then go ahead. Repeat days if you have to. I started with the 10k app and not the c25k. But that's me. Great job for wanting to move on up. Have you tried the 10k app at all?
