Guest Jen
I'm an athlete by nature and have the best of intentions in mind - but I have gained weight and have had a tough time with staying motivated to run/workout. I want to be a "runner", someone in my mind who can run 3 miles at any given time with no problem. How do I get the motivation and keep it going so I can finally be a "runner"? KellyAnn
Hi There Jen, Welcome Here! Tell your Mind you are!! You Go this and you can do it. I have been unmotivated so I am ready for Monday to kick my own butt. What I like to do is post pictures of Runners on my Fridge, in the bathroom and that keeps me so motivated. Place articles around the house and that keeps me going. I also made a chart of my starting weight and then the weight I want to be. Have you downloaded the app yet? 5k or 10k? We are all here cheering you on and to keep you going! Good luck!
Guest desiree
Jen, It helps me to have a goal. I have to have something to work toward and see the results along the way. My first goal wss to lose 60 lbs. Next it was time d planks and such, muscle mass, my latest goal id to lean up and run a 5k. Also working with a group of like minded people helps. Especially people who are farther along than me because I feel I help to work that much harder. one other thing I learned tjrough my journey, the strongest muscle is your head/mental strength. So many times my head wadn't up to something but then my body would be. My mental weekness messes me me more often than not. hope this helps.
