I can do this!

I just started c25k yesterday. When I turned 29 this summer I realized I'm not getting any younger, now is the time to change my future. I have a strong family history of diabetes, kidney disease, heart disease, cancer. I don't want to end up like my parents and grandparents. I totally changed my family's diet (I'm married with 2 elementary school aged kids), following the real food rules on 100daysofrealfood.com, and started feeling better so I started working out for the first time since high school. I've lost 29lbs since august 1st. My son has multiple severe disabilities and this weekend we volunteered at a charity half marathon. The atmosphere was electric! I was inspired, I want to do this! I have always hated running, which is a silly thing to say, I never ran! I've always loved to walk, but now I want to run! Yesterday I completed week 1, day 1. I was pretty certain I wasn't going to make it, but I said "I can run to the next streetlight", and I did so I said "well, I can run to the next one too" next thing I knew the app told me I was done, and I was disappointed! So I kept going. I finished day one at 1.8miles, and kept going to complete my workout at 3.35miles in 45 minutes. I was disapointed with myself, but today, looking back, I don't think I did too bad! I can do this!
