I've never seriously ran in my life

But I want to. I've been overweight since I was 10 and at 28 years old I want to change that. I'm tired of being unhealthy and always tired. I've always heard good things about C25K and how it's helped a lot of people get more active. 

I'm a mother of three and a nursing student, so more energy would be great. I hope to have dropped at least 50 lbs by the end of this year and to be able to run for an extended amount of time.
