Glenbay1
Hello everyone. My story is I am 58, 40lbs overweight and have just been told I am pre diabetic. I have been given to August to try to get my sugars under control or I may have to go on medication. I tried this app in 2017 but really just had a false start. I was a runner in high school but that was 40 years ago. Now I am motivated ....the cost of not doing this is too high so any tips/tricks and overall advice would truly be appreciated Crabapple
Crabapple
I understand that keto diets (low carb) can help diabetes. There's a doctor named Jason Fung who worked with diabetic patients and discovered that intermittent fasting helped them. Both also help people lose weight. CleBkPkr
Best advice is to not give up! Take it one day at a time and keep trying. Celebrate the little victories. As long as you are moving you are not standing still! Glenbay1 and Crabapple 1
Ninjajedi
Just do your best each week. If your feel like you need to repeat that week till you get it. Happy running! Crabapple
