DogWalker Posted January 26, 2019 Report Share Posted January 26, 2019 This is going to be a whole new thing for me. I’ve walked actively all my life, but have never made the leap to running. I’m a cancer survivor and just recently hit my 5-year survival mark. I gained over 100 pounds during my treatment and pity party and still have about 60 of that left to lose. My running friends have really encouraged me to start running to help get rid of the weight and several told me C25K was the best way to go. I start on Monday! It wants us to run for a minute at the beginning, but I don't make it to a full minute very often. I have I am optimistic for me and I'm optimistic for you! Go for it!
