Michele
Hi! I have completed week 2 day 1 and things are going really great so far! I have been excited about the use of the C25k app and running! I have always been a walker who wanted to try running but never could break going more than a mile without quitting. I feel good about this time and am staying focused. Wanted to begin getting feed back in this forum because when I talk with friends about it I seem to get more warnings than encouragement...be careful of your knees, watch where u run, etc. I am cautious and really want to go the distance. I haven't reached the point where I have been extremely challenged yet so I want to hear more positive info about running so I can continue my focus. From the postings I have read this is a great forum to get that info and support! Happy running to all!
KellyAnn
Hi Michele, welcome here. Good for you for starting. Incredible. These apps are greatfor keeping you motivated. There will be people who want to sabotage you. Listen to your body. I look at it this way. I am working out, getting my myself in shape, there will always be someone who says negative things. You do this for yourself. Proud of you. Keep us posted. Happy running.
Guest Penny
Today was my first day of running also. I was never interested in running but this app seems to make it easier. Everyone that runs seems to look like they are in great shape and that is what I wanted. I hope I am able to do this
