Hi Turner, 

 

Training 3 days a week, usually means Mon, Wed & Fri, Or Tues, Thur & Saturday.  I would do other workouts on the other days.  Some days I just do day 3 over again.  Up to you how you do it.  I would definitely space out your training days.  Other days i love to lift weights, hike, etc...   Good luck!
