Last December 2013i was talking with an old friend and happiness came up...I discovered I was not,,,so I thought I need to do something about that...I started writing motivational quotes and dressing up, putting on my makeup, and treating myself to extras other than food...I lost 29 lbs since then...change in the attitude was life changing.,,,I spent my whole life dieting, exercising....always never finding me....nor much success.....morale of my story...I can't get motivated to move,..lost the weight but so lazy.....so I talked to a nurse and she suggested downloading c25k and I am here reading some stories and thinking this is me,,.wish you all luck and be happy - love life!!!

Hi Ingrid,

Wow, you ended 2013 with a bang.  You can do it again.  Think of eating and exercising as a Lifestyle Change and not, oh man, another diet, this sucks.   Been there, done that.   If you think of it all as a Lifestyle change and you are doing it for better health and a better you, it might change the way you are thinking.

I taught exercise for years and was in total burnout for a few years, of course the weight came back on and now I am doing this for me and feeling way better about myself.

You got this and you can do it.  The C25k app is awesome, great motivater.  BEGIN TODAY, it does not take long at all and you will become addicted. I love it.

Nothing like taking care of your self and feeling good about yourself.

So, how are your eating habits?  Anything I can hep you with?   Good luck and check in on here.   HUGS!

A week or so later...and still procrastinating. I have to admit, it's difficult when you have so many things on my plate, and tons of stress and not much time. But, I have lots of excuses. Staying away from sugar. Durning .thanksgiving, I gained two pounds, but lost it again, not that I eat much. Move, move and move is my struggle.
