Barefoot4ever
II am ready for week 1 day 3. I am pretty fit, but not a runner. It's been easy for me, except that I got side stitches really bad last time. I'm breathing deeply, and I was told they will stop eventually, but what can I do to help or prevent them? Fivetoedeathkick
Right there with you! I noticed that they will occur if I'm dehydrated. Usually I will pause drink some water and raise the hand of the side with stitching and lean to the opposite side. So when I feel a side stitch on my right-side I will raise my right hand above my head fully extended and lean to my left until the stitch feeling subsides. Barefoot4ever
Now today, I had no issues whatsoever. I also ran barefooted, and in the afternoon instead of morning. I have no idea what made the difference.
