Tricki2K
Saucony is my favorite. Brooks is a close runner up. Scal

Ristowi09
I think Nike air max running shoes are best. These are just so comfortable, breathable and so soft for me. I am using these for a long time and very happy with the quality. I haven’t purchased Nike clothing ever because I feel that beyond yoga is much better at very reasonable price. Trail running shoes might help, at the expense of less comfort. Also Yaktrax Ice Grippers could be helpful. I'm gonna be running into the same problem since I live in North Dakota. Tammy Pallotta
Right now, I am wearing a Brooks Ghost 10. As a newbie, it was pure luck that I happened to get the right shoe for me. I bought an ASICS the same day (wanted to try both) but it wasn’t nearly as comfortable (could be a cheaper one-I am certainly NOT an expert) but I know what feels good for me. Crabapple
I am running in Sockwa minimalist shoes. Technically they're not running shoes, but I have been wearing minimalist shoes for a long time and I think the slightly elevated heel in a regular running shoe would give me problems.
