  1. Could be MFP. I also have a problem with MFP syncing with my Fitbit. I usually just manually add my info (I use a treadmill so I can see all the numbers to input- not sure if this would work if you walk outside)
  2. Right now, I am wearing a Brooks Ghost 10. As a newbie, it was pure luck that I happened to get the right shoe for me. I bought an ASICS the same day (wanted to try both) but it wasn’t nearly as comfortable (could be a cheaper one-I am certainly NOT an expert) but I know what feels good for me.
  3. Hi. I am a seasoned “walker”. I have been walking an hour on the treadmill elevated to level 10 (3 days per week) for about 2 years. But I have decided that I’d really like to run a 5k or maybe even farther. The walking has helped me lose about 20 lbs and feel healthier but I still need to lose the last few stubborn pounds. Hoping that starting to run will assist in that (even though the calories burned is less in the beginning, I am aiming for a bigger goal) .That said, Day 1 complete.
