Redfin204
I'm starting the 10k plan from week one even though I can run a 5k already. Would it be a good idea to add one or two easy runs for the first 5 weeks or so, before the workouts get to long.
Jschaferhess
Weeks 1-8 of the 10k app are identical to the 5k app. If you are already running 5k in ~30 minutes, there's no need to start the 10k app at the beginning. Why not start in week 9 instead?
MrPhil
Exactly what jschaferhess said. If you need a break before ramping up to 10k just do 5k free runs until you're ready.
Terri P
Week 8, day 3 ends with a 5k run. I you can already run a 5k, you should start at week 9, day 1.
