First 5K!

I am in my 6th week of the C25K program and finished my first 5K this past weekend!  Only had to stop twice to take a short walk to slow my breathing and am blessed that I had my husband by my side the entire time encouraging me.  It took me 43 minutes but I FINISHED.  I have problems controlling my breathing which I know is wearing me out quickly, but I know this will improve with time.  56 pounds down since my lifestyle change and this program is a wonderful addition! Thank you Zen Labs!! :D

Wow oh WOW! Congrats to you.  You are doing awesome.  Isn't a wonderful feeling knowing you did it??  Woohoo, Go Girl!    Something that might help is during the day, even set a reminder, is to Breathe Deep, through your lungs, hold it, release.  Do that for a few minutes.   That might help.  Happy Running and Congrats again!
