However, I'm please to report I completed the C25k and am on W11D2 of the 10k app. The key is to just say yes. The freaking app works! I've tried to walk 10,000 steps a day with occasional success but I want the weight off of me, I want to enjoy some of the "bad" things I love and exercise is the only way to do it! SusanB Posted October 18, 2016 Report Share Posted October 18, 2016 I was walking today [i'm really unfit-walking is all I can do] and I was lapped by a guy who looked to be in his 80s. Seriously. So I joined today and we'll be in it together! My only tip is to find some good support, and don't be afraid to repeat a day if the schedule is too fast for you. Good luck! Today I ran like not even a whole minute and I was dying. Decided I needed to try something new. Excited to start my C25K journey! Don't worry about it. Just keep up the routine of going out to run 3 times a week. Don't care about measuring yourself to reach 5km or 30mins by Week 8. Many of us "repeat" each week's suggested workout so be it. I think the key is growing the habit from not exercising at all, to getting out the door to do the C25K workout. You might do W1D1, W1D1 again, W1D2, W1D2 again, W1D3, W1D3 again, ..... just don't worry about it. You ran six times already. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
