SO unfit ... tips????

Count me in! I've tried to walk 10,000 steps a day with occasional success but I want the weight off of me, I want to enjoy some of the "bad" things I love and exercise is the only way to do it! We will do this together...but you've had a head start. My friend's 95 y.o. dad says, "if you rest, you rust!"

I was walking today [i'm really unfit-walking is all I can do] and I was lapped by a guy who looked to be in his 80s. Seriously. So I joined today and we'll be in it together! My only tip is to find some good support, and don't be afraid to repeat a day if the schedule is too fast for you. Good luck!

i am very unfit. like I haven't done any exercise in years. how do I not due while doing this? any tips would help !!!

Don't worry about it.  Just keep up the routine of going out to run 3 times a week.  Don't care about measuring yourself to reach 5km or 30mins by Week 8.  Many of us "repeat" each week's suggested workout so be it.

 

I think the key is growing the habit from not exercising at all, to getting out the door to do the C25K workout.

 

You might do W1D1, W1D1 again, W1D2, W1D2 again, W1D3, W1D3 again, ..... just don't worry about it.  You ran six times already.
