Starting Crossfit and Running from Scratch

I'm Em. A 22 year old female from CT, USA.

I'm quite overweight, haven't been active in years since training in the English horse show ring which ended in 2008.

I just recently joined my local crossfit box and am having trouble with my endurance in cardio, but running more specifically.

Looking to improve drastically so I can keep up with and eventually surpass (I can dream) my fellow crossfitters.

Welcome here.   Crossfit is amazing, love it.  If I wasn't so far out in the country I would def join a gym that does that.   I do a lot on my own, so I am ok with that.   

 

For Cardio:  ZenLabsFitness has great apps, C25k (couch to a 5k), is a great app to begin.  We also have, 10k, 13.1k and 26.2k , ABS, Lunges, Pushup apps to help too.  If you have never ran, then C25k is the way to go.  It coaches you to run/walk, etc..  Love it.  The more you do, the better and stronger you will become.  Good Luck!
