Starting C210K tomorrow!

Just wanting to say Hi!  :)

 

I'm 35 and live in the North West of England. I've downloaded the app to start tomorrow and feeling pretty nervous about it.

 

I've run the distance in the past, I did the Manchester BUPA 10k in 2010. I did it in approximately 1hr 15 mins and I can't say I enjoyed it - the distance was too much for me at the time and it put me off running for a long time.

 

I've picked it up every now and again since then, but I seem to improve a little and then for some reason I stop.. Then it's hard getting back to it because even though I know I'll improve quickly, those first few runs are HARD!

 

I've never done a structured training program so I'm hoping that this will help motivate me along the way. There is a local 10k race near me in July that I might consider doing, depending on how this goes. But my main reason is to get fitter and feel better about myself and I always do once I get a good few runs under my belt!

 

So that's it really, looking forward to joining in.  :P
