AnnieJ8
I just completed week 2 days 3. I started the app last Friday the 25th and did not run 2 days since I started. Am I crazy to just continue through the days and weeks? Or am I really suppose to just do it 3 days a week? I'm running a 5k on May 7th so I don't have the full 8 weeks to train. Kat94
I was running everyday and injured my foot. I was off for three moths waiting for it to heal. I now run every other day and pay closer attention to how my legs and feet feel during my runs. Good luck with the running!
RunningScientist
I really recommend taking the rest days. Your muscles need time to rest and recover between runs, especially if you aren't used to running.
alir.smith
I think taking days off from running is key, especially when you're new to running. I have been running every other day - on the off days, I do strength training, or kettle bells, or something else that is a bit lower impact.
