tnkpositiv
Hi everyone. I started this program and was to be on week 3 this week but had a very hard time getting through week 2 running so I'm doing it again. It was tough but I made it through. I have 30 extra pounds on me which doesn't help. However, I'd like to hear from others who couldn't do much of anything and made it to running miles! I can't see how it's possible but I'm sticking with it. Thanks a bunch! Dana
Kat94
I finished W5D3 yesterday and I ran slowly but I didn't stop during the 20 minutes of running. I too am carrying a bunch of extra weight, so I understand how you feel. Find a good pace that keeps you challenged but won't cause injuries. It does get a bit easier each time and repeating something is totally fine as long as you're not letting it stop you from moving on to the next week. I will be repeating W5D3 because I want to see if I can improve my pace and run farther. Keep it up and it will start to get easier!
curryholic
It does get easier! My first few weeks I was only running every 4-5 days as I needed more recovery time in between than I expected, but I kept moving forward, and somewhere in week 4 or 5 or so realized that it was harder to get moving again after more than 2-3 days, and that I really started feeling better and stronger when I ran every other day, so that's what I'm doing now. On week 7 now, running every other day for the past few weeks, and definitely feeling stronger, healthier, more consistent, and more motivated. Keep on going at whatever pace you need to, as long as you're moving forward!
