Siouxfan22 Posted January 22, 2016 Report Share Posted January 22, 2016 So I downloaded this app to help me become a runner and to be able to consistently run a mile (or more) without stopping. I'm a little nervous because right now at my best my pace is still 13min/mile. It looks like this app has you running about a 10min/mile. Any insight? Work on staying injury free and jogging when the app says to. Later on, you increase pace through intervals fartlek training and increased volume. Badger2000 Posted January 29, 2016 Report Share Posted January 29, 2016 If you are on a treadmill 6mph is about what this app assumes you run at, I am fairly overweight and I can run at this pace but if it is not possible don't feel bad, you are doing well just by running.
