Today I decides that if I am going to be serious about exercising I need to set a goal. My goal is to run a 5K race and actually RUN not walk it! I started my weight loss journey in June and have lost 35 lbs just with diet..a healthy diet!!.. And I am now under 200 lbs!! I haven't been under 200lbs for 4 years!! Now it's time to get fit and inspire others! Join me in this! I am a full time nurse and a full time student on top of being alone in Florida! No excuse is good enough to let yourself get unhealthy! I'm doing this for me! I just finished Week 1 Day 1 and I am dripping sweat and my arms are tingly and my legs are numb but I feel great!! Because I finished without having to take a break!!! Can't wait to do it again tomorrow! Tingly arms and numb legs and all!!!

Oh my gosh Kati,

 

You have to super proud of yourself. I sure am proud of you. Wow. Thats an accomplishment. Keep up the awesome work.

 

Was there a specific diet you used?

 

You are such an inspiration for all of us to reach for our goals. Please keep me posted on here. Im so excited for you!

Hi Kati

I'm 47, live in the UK and work full time I have struggled with my weight most of my life I've lost 28lbs in the last 12 months by diet alone. I've always found an excuse for not exercising. My favourite being I'm too heavy. Both my siblings run but not me...! I've got to a point where boredom is setting in now I need to get motivate or I'm in danger of putting it all back on. I completed Week 1 day 1 on Sunday and thought I was going to die half way through. I struggled on and was relieved at the end of the 30 minutes. I felt a huge wave of satisfaction and felt it was worth every second of pain. I'm doing day 2 tonight and I can't wait!!! Good luck with your journey to 5k.
