MadDog
Hi everyone! I am brand new to running and struggling to fit it into my schedule (I am a law student and mother to an almost-two-year-old). My husband signed us up for my first 10k in February, so I cannot fall behind on this program! I am just about to start Week 3 and I have encountered a small problem - when I run, my calves get so tight it almost feels like I can't take a full step. It doesn't seem to matter how much I stretch throughout the day. Any tips?
Azatol
2 stretches to try Although I do one leg at a time. Also this is done straight legged but then unlock your knee and do it again. That's called a soleus stretch. See if that helps. 30 seconds each stretch as many times as you can find the time in a day to do them.
