Guest RC49_123
Hi there I want to train for 13.1. I haven't finished the c25k App but since it's c 2 13.1 I was thinking it would work te same way, start off slow and slowly increase. I have 13 weeks instead of 14 although I did start last week with the c25k app. Also any reviews on the app? It doesn't have any reviews
KellyAnn
It is up to you where you want to go with the apps. Couch to a 5 k c25k is Just that. From the couch as a beginner and train for a 5 k. When you graduate from that you then move on to the 10k app. Then 13.1 and so on. I started with the 10k app as I've always worked out and the 5k was too slow for me. I'm not a beginner. Download the app and try it and see if you are ready for it. Anyone else done this and can give advice to him for jumping from the 5k all to the 13.1???? I am sure there are others who have. I would love to see of anyone else has done this. Guest RC49
Thanks! I will try it out and see. I won't run everyday. I'm thinking every other day and if I'm sore or too tired from a hard run day I won't be pushing myself past that but I do want to acheive 13.1 come Dec 6. I will let you know an update soon. And I am going from couch to 13.1 - beginner runner too (although I used to work out years ago). I have 70 lbs to lose. This is a good goal to get me off my butt. I believe. KellyAnn
Awesome 49, you are amazing. Way to rock it. I don't run every day tall. 3-4 times a week is it for me. Weight lifting the other days. Super proud of how you are moving up higher in the apps. We are all so proud of you. Keep it up.
Guest RC49
Just downloaded the 13.1 app. A bit intimidating since I haven't tried jogging 3 minutes yet but I like how it tells you to work out with. Cross training. I will see how tomorrow goes with jogging for 3 minutes at a time. I probably won't go fast. But here goes nothing to trying the program. If I have to I will go down to the 10k app and hope it gets me through the 13.1 race I signed up for in Dec

Guest Tonya Dowling
I've downloaded all the running apps from Zen Labs. I am scheduled to run the Disney Half in January, however I can barely get thru the C25K app..mostly because I'm very inconsistent. I've run/walked several 5k races and although I'm not fast, I do finish them lol. I only started with the C25K app because when I saw what was expected of me at the start of the 13.1 app I was like ... ...but, I'm concerned if I stick with the 5k app for 8 weeks, I won't be training properly for the 13.1 by January I just need to manage a 16 min/mile pace for that race....Does anyone have any suggestions on how to integrate the 13.1 app so I'm ready for January?? Thanks.
KellyAnn
Hey Tonya, Unless you have been consistently working out, starting with the 13.6 app might be tough. How about starting with the 10k one? Its kicking my butt. Maybe go halfway with it and then switch to the 13.6 one? Or Do the 13.6 app and just do the best that you can with it. I am going to the 13.6 one after the 10.. You can do it.
