fudgemonkey999
Aggie here. 27 year old female. Have about 60lbs of fluffiness I'd really love to say goodbye to. Suffer from chronic back pain, and struggle to manage PCOS. New to running, and semi new to seriously working out (ie going to gym 3-4 days a week). I've been terrified of treadmills for a very long time-sooo much work- but had recently got on one at the gym I frequent, and I fell in love...and became a bit obsessed. Walked/ jogged for 30 minutes the first day, and was sore for two days after. Even though the pain made everything more challenging, I got excited and decided to see how far I can take this, ie how long I can stick to doing it and not quitting the first week. Officially did week 1/day 1 today...and got too excited because of the fact that I didn't fall on my face and die, so I jogged/walked an additional 30 minutes. And now I can't move, haha. I know that tomorrow is going to be a very challenging day, soreness wise, but I am determined to keep at this. I don't normally post on forums (shy and awkward), but I figured that this would be a good way for me to hold myself accountable. Hope to interact with some motivated, optimistic peeps, and see progress kick its way through the door, Kool-aid man style.
