Redden
I haven't exercised for a few years, young child, and have never been a runner. I've just completed week 2 and I'm feeling a bit nervous about moving on to week 3, some of the runs double in time. I think I can do it but I would have to slow my pace. I'm already running pretty slowly. So what I want to know is should I move to week 3 and just run more slowly or repeat week 2 till I can do it at a better pace? Guest TrishE
Welcome Give week three a shot! Slower is better when building endurance. Be patient. Speed will come later. You can do it!
iamnataliemarie
I am running so slow my dog is pretty much just walking next to me when we go out to do our run. My goal is to build endurance as Trish mentioned and once I can run 30 min straight I will focus on the speed. So don't let that discourage you. I am almost done with week 4 and it seems like just yesterday I was struggling with the 1 minute runs.
Natcatvet
I just finished week 3 and honestly day 1 I failed because I had to walk 20 sec of the first 3 min block, but I completed day 2 and 3 easily - and I run like a turtle in peanut butter too! I'm nervous about week 4 but it seems everyone just takes it slow with the tips to make sure you have rest days and DONT WATCH THE CLOCK OR TIMER! Put on good music. Good luck
