lsjackson78 Posted August 3, 2015 Report Share Posted August 3, 2015 I decided to take control of my health and train for a 5K that is a little less than 2 months away. I don't think I'll be ready. I was completely winded before my minute run was over. Last week I know I walked a lot of the minutes that I was supposed to run. I will admit this week is slightly better but not much. I don't feel I'll be ready to begin week 2 next week and maybe looking at restarting week 1 a 3rd time. AND I go to the gym also. So I'm not completely out of shape. How can I get better? rebecca13 Posted August 3, 2015 Report Share Posted August 3, 2015 Welcome! Everyone starts at a different place and so some of us need more time to get through week one. I can't tell you how many times I've restarted it. I'd say keep repeating day one until you can do the whole thing including the running, and only then move on to day two.
