Well its really up to you and your schedule. A lot of people run monday Wednesday Friday but I know running everyday is common too but if you do want to do that makes sure you take one day for rest :)

Hi there LadyLibra,

You start week 2 on Week 2, If you are doing sooo good, then repeat a few days on Week 1 to 4-5 days if you want to. Or, Do other workouts until Week 2.. I try to keep my weeks on the week I am at.. You can shake it up doing so many other workouts, strength training, etc.... You can do it, we are all here for you!!! Good Luck!

Hey everybody! I'm Emily and I am new to running. I'm on a weight loss journey from 255 to 130 and so far I'm at 212! I'm so used to being on my feet all day (stairs too!) but running takes much more effort and I'm nervous/excited to get started! My running goal is to be able to complete a Glow Run in November. Any tips/suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Welcome :)

My advice is invest in a good pair of running shoes if you can. They are worth it!

Also be patient with yourself. Its a long journey and it wont be easy but its so so worth it :)

Good luck!

Hi Ecruz,

Welcome here. TrishE gave great advice. Shoes will make ya want to move it!!!! :). You have a goal ahead of you , so go for that goal. If it helps for you to write it on paper amd post it to the fridge, then do it!! Anything to help you see that carrot in front of you will be awesome!!!

Let us know here how you do! Good Luck.
