Staffy
Hi guys. Just joined up so thought I'd drop by. I'm a rather large lady and got so desperate in January went for private surgery for a gastric band (lap band) to be fitted. Used to be relatively fit and played rugby and trained most days but a knee injury and several ops put an end to it 5 years ago. Have a chaotic life and spend most of the week living well in hotels so I find routine really hard. Decided to try this for 2 reasons. 1 I need to lose the weight and get fitter and healthier and 2 I've just signed up to a 5k next year for cancer research for my best friend who sadly doesn't have much time Left with us. ( he thinks its hilarious as he knows my aversion and pure hatred I have for running). Can't say I excited about starting but going to try and find the love of pounding the streets. Wish me luck. KellyAnn
hi Staffy, Welcome here! Living in Hotels is tough, but they have great gyms to get moving... You can do this anywhere. Buy a Fitbit so you can track your steps.. It keeps me motivated!
