I was able to finish my very first day and feel so accomplished haha

Quick question though, my chest is hurting me little, I haven't worked out in many years, is that the reason why? Is it normal?

Yep totally normal as long as its not making it hard for you to breathe. Your lungs are getting as much of a workout as the rest of your body :) running is tough all over. Just be aware of it next workout and if you start to feel like you cant breathe and your light headed stop. Other than that it should go away the more you run.
