I did it!!! Ran my first 5K!

It was a long hard 8 weeks but my goal of running a 5K without stopping was achieved! 37:37 was my time. Not a bad first time for this 35 year old woman! My advice is solely never and I mean never give up. I'm overweight, short, and WAS completely out of shape. There will be days u even question why your even doing this...but I'll tell ya, crossing that finish line with my best friend (who is disgusting fit) and she looked like she might die, was worth every minute of pain I had along this endeavor! I just started the 10K training and couldn't believe how far u can go after two short months! Good luck ya'll...keep thoes legs moving!!!
