Hello everyone I'm new!

I'm 21 and wanting to change for a healthier life! Starting with this c25k I'm so excited! I need many tips and advice as far as what's best for beginners I've never really been in good shape I'm a bit of chunk! Lol any and all advice is appreciated!

Hope to be a healthier version of myself!

Kate, take it slow. Don't compare yourself to others, just challenge yourself to be better than the you from the previous day. Don't be afraid to repeat days if necessary. And be prepared for hard and discouraging days - they will happen - but it will make all the successes feel that much more incredible!

Way to be proactive at a young age (well ok compared to some of us!)

 

Work the program the way it's designed; don't try to go too fast.

 

If you can, invest in a good pair of running shoes. The best would be to go to a running store and have them fit you for the proper pair.

 

Keep at it, you'll soon find your body craving a good run!
