Hey ya'll. I am starting the program today! i just purchased the Pro version of C25K (in the wee hours of the morning). It was something I'd been thinking about and was debating on a few of the different apps. Decided to go with C25K because of reviews. I don't really see much of a difference between the free and pro version (unless I just haven't looked around enough lol). 

 

Anyway, I live in Ohio and I'm 30. I do not drive (no license), so I walk everywhere unless I can get a ride. I was wanting to do a few 5Ks' this year, they would be my first (or, the first would be lol). Hopefully I can get in shape before the first one (end of Aug). It would be one I'd be getting the bus for (out of state) since all the ones around me are within the next 2 months (if they haven't happened already). I am 4'11-5'0 even (when I measure I get one or the other, the doctor even tried to tell me I'm 5'2 (no way)) and just over 200 lbs. So, I'm very overweight, I always have been though. Other than my weight, I'm healthy, I used to be on the dance team at my schools, etc. I eat well (rarely have snacks/junk, loads of chicken, veg, fruit, salads, etc) and do low impact exercise a few times a week (on top of the walking). 

 

So, that's a little about me. lol.
