Kattmynta01
And maybe one of the only 13 year olds here! I am in a terrible shape (so bad that I can't run 20 meters without getting exhausted and gasping for air) I really hope C25k will help me get better, but I'm afraid that the workouts will be too tough! Guest TrishE
hello katt Running is tough but dont worry as long as you have the right mindset your body can do anything. Don't be afraid of it, this is your program to work around your body and your lifestyle. C25k starts you off slowly so just take it one day at a time and dont get discouraged if you cant finish a run segment, a lot of people cant, trust me. I wish you the best of luck! I hope you keep us posted on your progress
KellyAnn
Hi There Katty, Welcome here on our forums. Proud of you at your age to want to get in shape. You can do anything you set your mind to. There is so much obesity in the younger ages nowadays and I love the fact that you want to do something about it. Do you know, that when you start making changes in your life, that your friends and those around you will want to do the same? What an awesome role model you will be for health. We are so proud of you in taking this journey with us. These apps are great. So, because of your age, make sure you check with your parents and/or your Doctor to make sure it is ok for you to do this! My son started really running in the 9th grade and he lost 30lbs one summer. Noone recognized him when he went back to school. Its was awesome. He changed the way he ate and ran. You can do this. Make the change Katty. Change the world. Keep us posted here and i am so happy for you!
