KellyAnn
Hi There, Hi, do not be afraid. Welcome here and we are all here for you. DO not worry about speed, Start with Day1, Week 1 and you will be just fine. Go at your own pace , YOU CAN DO IT! Good Luck! Yoyo
I "run" or "jog" almost slower than I walk! Don't be afraid to go too slow, listen to your body, your lungs and legs will tell you how much you can do. You'll get faster as you go through the program. Guest TrishE
Exactly what Kelly and Yoyo said At this point you should be worried about going too fast as opposed as too slow. When youre starting at the beginning you are building your endurance, your focus should be on completing all the running segments without stopping even if that means jogging at a slow pace. Rule of thumb, you should be able to talk to someone or sing aloud to your music without feeling like you cant breathe. Good luck!!
djplong
I can't remember where I read it - but when I was reading a lot of articles on the web about the C25K program, one suggestion was "If you can run slower - do it!". The reason being is that you are trying to build up your endurance - speed is something that comes later.

CyndiValles
I too am trying to start once again after 15 years of a hiatus, due to life's problems. My daughter is strongly encourages me daily to move (exercise), for that I'm greatful that she is now like me some 25 years ago. I wish all a persistence attitude of Casey Jr., "I think I can" as he climbs the mountain then success! "I thought I could!" May you and I come to the realization "I knew I could". KellyAnn
Hi Mervat. Welcome here. Oh, no, you are not doing a 10k everyday. You are TRAINING for a 10k by the time you finish with the app. I clocked it with another app and you are doing about 1.5 miles and above. If you do find it too easy and you are a pro at it, skip ahead for a few days or so. Hope this helps. Cyndi, welcome here to you too. Good luck. Lots777
I am already in week number six and just like everyone else said focus in running or jogging your segments then you will build up resistance and before you know you will be running like forest gump...
