Lilylover
I used the C25K app on my phone for the first time today. I had to skip a few of the running intervals but kept walking and completed the 30 min. I have not run in years. Today marked a loss of 15 lbs for me so I'm very motivated to jump start my losing by adding this exercise. Up til now I have just walked. I hope I can keep it up. Guest TrishE
Welcome lilylover and congrats on those 15lbs! C25K is a wonderful program to try when restarting any kind of running, I'm so glad youre giving it a shot. Keep with it, I know it can be tough in the beginning but youll get there quicker than you think. Good luck! I hope you keep us posted on your progress we are here for help and support if need be. Lilylover
This is my 2nd time here. Should I be writing here or should this be a "new topic"? Anyway, the important thing is I DID use the C25K app again today - my 2nd day in a row. Although I can't run every 'run'section, I'm doing every other one and walking briskly in between. For me, this is amazing! As I said yesterday, I haven't run in years! I am feeling kind of sore and achy tonight though. - Lilylover
Guest TrishE
Yes ma'am, you can repost on a post all youd like Im glad you used the program again but remember that the rest days in between your work outs are very important. Running works your whole body pretty significantly and it needs a day to recover, especially when your first starting or starting again after a long period of time. Being sore is good it means the running and activity is working like it should!
