New to running.

Hello. I'm a 43 year old mom of 2, step mom of 2 all grown and gone. I wanted to add some adventure to my oh so kidless life. So running it is. I walk a lot and have done the 3day Breast Cancer Awareness Walk. 20 miles a day for 3 days so 60 miles. But this running is definitely different business. Started yesterday and I want to make sure I do it right. Someone suggested this app. And it seems interesting to get started. Any other advice is definitely welcome.

Welcome here. I kniw the feeling with kids been gone. After having 26 Foster kids, our two boys and my stepdaughter, I know how you feel with , what do I do now that the kids are gone? I did that for years. It is really hard , especially when your life revolved around the kiddos , right???

 

Take your tome with the app. Run , walk, all up to you. Do what makes you feel good. If you have to repeat days, then do. You are moving. I'm so proud of you. You are so young and have the world in front of you. I would so love to walk 20 miles a day for Breast Cancer Awareness, Heck, I'd drove my Rv and walk with you. Lol.
