Treadmill jogging speed?

Doing 10k app and almost halfway (two runs away from 5k so far) however I wanted to know what speed is considered jogging? I'm doing it to lose the very last pounds of weight as I'm still about 15lbs overweight (62 lbs lost so far through diet and weight lifting)

The way I'm doing it since begining is 5mph jogging 2mph walking (is that too slow)

Your take on this is much appreciated

Ps. I'm talking treadmill speed here btw!

Jogging is the beginning stage of running. Speed can vary depending on the individual (height, leg length, etc). Just turn up the speed until you can no longer simply walk and have to start jogging.

I'm just starting out with the 5k app and I typically walk at a treadmill speed of 3.2 and jog at around 3.7. That's basicaly a speed walk and a slow job for me.  My warm up and cool downs are more around a 2.5 walk

I walk at 2.5 and run at 6 which is a 10 min mile! I'm on week 11 and it works for me! You can always up it if 6 feels too easy but running over an hour at that pace gets tiring so I personally am keeping it there

I am 5"7' 160 and 46 about 20lbs overweight. I have done the program before but has lapsed in working out. Just started back today. Walk at 3 and run at 3 the first week to get back in the swing
