Dmosby
Hi All, My name is Daryle I am 42 and I am new to the forum but I am in Week 5 day 2 of C25K. I was 375 lbs when I started and I am down to 364. I am a former athlete....College Lacrosse and football. I am a dad of a wonderful 6 year old daughter husband to an amazing wife. I Hope to use this program to get back into serious running and lose weight. I ran the Disney 2004 Marathon so i am no stranger to running. Hopefully i can give some advice to others as well as utilizing other to help me reach my goals. Currently I am just running on a treadmill as is is easier on the joint and back until i can get my weight down to a manageable number. My daughter loves running in the yard and I really want to be able to chase and play with her. Also I want to be around for a long time and lets face it.....you don't see to many 300+ lbs 70 year olds walking around the mall. So good luck to everyone! gnik1
Hi Dmosby welcome. If only I had your foresight and did the same thing 9 years ago missed out on my kids growing up too focused on work etc.. But not crying over the past I have just started on my journey and I hope it will be beneficial as no doubt yours will be.
