Guest Emmmalicious
I am 39, a blessed wife and mommy, a Montessori teacher, and most of all, a Christian. I am at a point in life where I want to feel healthier and to make sure I take realistic steps to do so. In my twenties and thirties I did things like starving myself, excercising all the time, and trying all kinds of diets. I was never happy, even at my skinniest: 122. After a long internal battle of never appreciating my body and being almost at 40, I am finally learning to love my curves and know that my imperfections are part of who I am. So now, I've come to a point where I want to make and accomplish small, personal goals. My first goal, jogging/walking a 5 K, I accomplished with my daughter and some great friends on Thanksgiving of this year! Yay us!! I want to keep going and see where this road takes me! Amen God! KellyAnn
Hi Emma. Welcome on here. You will do great. I loved your introduction. You can do this. There comes a point where you have to look at yourself in the mirror and say, this is who I am and God made me this way. Then embrace who you are. You will feel better. I am doing that myself. I am enjoying u til tomorrow and then I am going back to healthy eating and being good. One day at a time. One foot in front of the other. You can do it. Any help you need, just ask. Good luck and keep us posted. Happy New Year!
