danakc
Hi My name is Dana. I will be starting Week 3 of the Couch 2 5k tomorrow. I have never ran--ever! I'm 49 years old and my son-who is training for Ultra-races talked me in to trying it. I love the Zen Lab apps and all the support and motivation the give. Lydraneha
Hi Dana and everyone, I'm Cath, and like a lot of us out there, I wasn't working out before starting the 5k training. Even if I have to go really slowly with my bad knees, I absolutely love the App and the motivation of ZenLabs and all the ZenLabors! Thanks to you all, and good luck on your way to success! Blondie1967
Hi all, I'm Lisa. I'm getting started again with c25k. Looking forward to adding running back into my fitness program. I too run slowly, but I'm passing up those still sitting in their couch! gyingst and SharonRuns
Guest Susan Myrick
Hi there! I'm Susan. I didn't decide to make exercise a regular part of my life until two months ago. I'm 42 and had my 3rd baby last year. With being older and out of shape before the new baby, there were significant recovery issues after his birth. I felt the worst ever. But now that I'm running and getting back my body I once had, I'm feeling much better. Looking forward to continuing this life changing journey with all of you. Thanks, C25K, for this forum and your awesome apps.
Guest Tracy
Hi, I started running in March 2013 and continue three times a week. Thanks to Zen Labs for getting me up and running! Tracy, 51 years young
gyingst
Hi, I'm Ginny. I began the C25k program about a year ago. I'm 66 and did my first 5k in March. I run slow, too. I love this app and it's my goto when I need extra motivation. I run for myself and not for time.
smasche
Hi I'm Sandy. I am 45. I started the C25K program earlier this year graduated from the program did a 5k in May and finished it in 50 min. I have signed up for a couple of other runs now also. I am starting over again to get my times to be better. I do know that without this program I would have given up on running along time ago. I love this program, and keep telling all of my friends and family that they should try it. JennyC
JennyC
Hi! I'm Jenny. Long Island, NY based 44 year old lifetime non-runner. My mantra, until 3 weeks ago, was "I don't run". I just finished W3D3!! It's super hard, but I really love it. My new favorite words in the English language are ONE MINUTE LEFT! I'm having some shin splint challenges, so I may go back and do W3 again, W4 looks a little daunting to me and I think I would like to put a second week of W3 under my belt first. Happy to be here, good luck to everyone!
Guest agentdiane
Hello everyone, I'm Diane. I am starting to try running. I have to start some exercise in order to avoid the health issues in our family. My mom ran for a long time & she keeps telling me I will grow to love it. :-) We shall see. I'm only on the second week of c25k. Maybe when I can still breathe when I'm done with a run it will be more enjoyable. ;-) I'm glad to see these forums. It is always an encouragement to see other people reach their goals. Thank you for your shared motivation.
