  1. Good luck. You can do it!!!! It's better to train with friends so you can motivate each other.
  2. I am running again. Today is my first day back on the sidewalk. Beats pounding in my ears. The only thing missing was the fire breathing down my throat. It's funny how the body remembers. I am starting from scratch on the 10K app to prevent injury. Happy running!
  3. Drink plenty of water a few days before and up to the morning of the event. Eat light the morning of the run and a little bit of water. I'm no expert but that is what I did and I finished the 5K with minimal walking in between. Good luck
