  1. I'm nearing the end of writing my Masters thesis, and have had a couple of false starts with C25K. The stress, the snacking, the total lack of exercise... this thesis has left my body in terrible shape, and as soon as it's done I'm going to be getting back into weightlifting, AND, for the first time, running. I have always been terrible at running. Never managed further than a mile in my life. Then a few years ago I had a really bad leg break, which has made things even worse. Physio said "You'll never be able to run a 10k or anything like that." Well, I tried the first week or two of C25K at the end of last year and loved it. So I'm now determined to prove that physio - and myself - wrong by slowly getting into this new sport. As I said, I've had a couple of false starts, so I've decided to get the dissertation out of the way and start afresh the first Monday after deadline day, which is Monday 19th September. I'm putting it on here so there's no backing out! If anyone else is looking to start on that day, give me a shout on here or on Twitter (falconermusic) See you soon!
