Plantar fasciitis and heel spurs

Completed C25K and ran two 5ks. I was really on a roll and feeling good. However, I ignore the pain in my arch and kept going until 3rd 5k run became a walk, then a hobble. The pain was so severe that I was almost in tears. The doc said that I have PF and a heel spur. Four laser treatments, three injections, and made to fit orthotics are not improving the situation. I tried to at least continue walking but even had to hang up my walking shoes (hopefully temporarily). Does anyone have any tips to help me get back on the road?

Look I have had plantar fasccitis now for 6 months. I just ran my first half marathon on Sunday, so not always it will keep you from running. I have tried many things. What helped the most was stretching the calfs and strengthening excersises. I also had my foot taped with rock tape before Sunday. I think that helped. I have started a 3 month treatment journey with a structural podiatrist this week. After x rays we saw that my feet are out of line, my right and left are different by 7 % and I have heel spurs in both feet! even though only my left foot hurts. After the first adjustment I could stand on my feet without pain. It will take some time but he will align all my feet muscles and combat the problem at the root cause, so I'm future there should be no need for othodics. You can pm me if you like and I will keep, you up to date on progress. I am sceptical but he has a very high success rate.

Ossotripsy is another good option, not covered by insurance but I have had great success. First day of c25k today. Post treatment of 5 months. Would have started sooner buthad a ganglian cyst flair up on the top of my foot. It never seems to end when it comes to my feet and knees!
