Gaining instead of loosing

Hi everyone. Almost two months ago I started walking everyday for 30 minutes to help with weight loss. Two weeks ago, I discovered this app and have been running/walking everyday for the last two weeks. This week I figured out I’m only supposed to be running 3x a week for this app. Anyways despite all that I weigh more now than when I started. I’m not watching my diet but not eating horribly either. Within last 2 weeks I also cut down on my meat consumption. So why am I gaining??
