Getting Back To It

Hi, everyone.

I'm a former runner who's been out of the game for quite a few years.  I suffered a major loss in my family recently, someone who's love and encouragement guided me in my early running days.  The loss has steered me back to the running world and this app seems to be a great tool to allow for someone to appropriately pace themselves after a long absence.  

My long term goal is to be marathon ready by 2020, which I believe is possible.  Short term goals include training, incrementally, up to that point (i.e. 5k, 10k, half marathon) while also incorporating strength training which supplements the rigors of distant running. 

Good luck to everyone and, whatever your reason is for starting this journey, may it be your driving force.  You can do this.
